Diffusion: Unconventional Photography

I'm excited to announce that I have recently joined the staff of Diffusion Magazine as an Editor.
I've admired the magazine of unconventional photography since its inception and I am truly looking forward to being a part of the team.

If you haven't seen this magazine and you are interested in photography even a little bit, I can't say enough about where its been and where its going. The images shown are inspirational as are the artists that make them. We've just closed our 2012 magazine's call for entries and from what the Founding Editor, Blue Mitchell, has told me, there is some exceptional work to wade through. I cannot wait.

Here's the link. Check it out!

Window in the Stars

When it's over, I want to say: I was a bride married to amazement.

Spooky Show, Lightbox Photographic Gallery

If you ever find yourself in Astoria, Oregon (home of the Goonies!) do yourself a favor and visit Lightbox Photographic Gallery. Michael and Chelsea Granger have worked tirelessly to create a photography center that is quickly creating a buzz in the photographic world. The space is gorgeous and the shows they bring to the area are exceptional (plus, they're genuinely nice folks). Lightbox is a wonderful addition to the Northwest art scene.

I am proud to have two of my pieces gracing the walls of the Lightbox Gallery through the month of October in their Spooky Show. Here is one of my images that is in the show:

And here is the link to see the entire show. Check it out, it's a lot of fun: LightBox Gallery's Spooky Show

From The Archives

I'm going through old photos, trying to decide what's going on my website and what isn't. So far, I've scrapped everything about 100 times. At this rate, my website will be done when I'm 107.
Here are a couple from the archives that I actually enjoy:
